Believe me or not but I started building my basic wardrobe only a year ago! Seriously, just A YEAR! Not doing so long time ago was my huge mistake in creating my own style and filling my wardrobe. That’s why now days I am struggling a big problems with buying basic clothes. I mean, I know what I really need. The point is that I need too many things.
Today I am wearing an outfit which is totally consists of the basic garments. And al of these pieces I got this year – finally! The best thing that I purchased for my Summer were these white Zara pants – actually, this is my first white bottom that I have ever bought. The basics? Yes. Looking great? Oh, they really do! And what is more, the whites are always going well with the black – 60% of my wardrobe.
The next were these camel coat from Massimo Dutti and brown ankle boots from Tommy Hilfiger – both are my best investments. Thanks this Summer and my sensitive eyes I found these garments in Nice, while doing a small shopping spree with Mom.
And the last one, which, actually was THE HARDEST findings – the perfect oversize grey jumper which I got from Laura Scott. I don’t know why I am having such bad problems with the basics, but still I am glad that since spending so much time in malls I finally found what I wanted on…the Internet! As I always was telling me and other, if you want to find something, go on online shopping. This jumper I got from Quelle, where, actually, you can find loads of basic things, from pants and tops to outerwear and shoes. I loved this store not only for a wide range of good quality things but also for a very helpful size guide: each size is followed by a centimeters which is very useful for those who still don’t know which size to chose – read, like me. I stopped on the 36 size, which is a good oversize – exactly what I wanted. Finally, I’ve got the basic grey sweater which goes perfectly with my everyday outfits as well as for casual chic looks. And I love that I can put it off shoulder – cozy, cute and stylish.
Still, my basic wardrobe needs a little fix and renovation – and I am working on it. On the list – white and blue blouses, new matte leather jacket, boyfriend and flare jeans and a pair of black low heel boots.
