Trick or treat? I chose both. Even in Russia we don’t celebrate Halloween like it is celebrated in USA, I still love the spirit of this holiday. Yes, not everyone understand why do some of us love celebrating Halloween, like I don’t understand why others like St Valentine’s Day or St Patrick’s Day, but still among all not-russian holidays Halloween is my most favorite one.
I remember when I was 7-8 years old my whole school celebrated Halloween each year. I put on my pointed hat, a full black skirt, a gown and voila I was a little witch 🙂 And at school we had tricks and treats, contests, scary stories, spooky things – all in all we really had a great time. And since changing into characters was (and still is) my favorite thing, in Halloween I had so much freedom doing so. May be my big love for changing characters played a big role in the decision of doing cosplay things for quite a long time. And since I don’t cosplay anymore, I still love creating interesting stories with characters on the blog. And I think it is very important and useful to change roles once in a month in order to feel alive and not forget who you really are.
Halloween is already over, thanks to my ability doing nothing in time, I am sharing a small spooky story only now. Today feel free to visit modern Salem, where the dangerous and red haired supreme witch welcomes every girl who want to practice dark magic in her powerful clan. Time of pointed hats is over, but we still wear them, in other forms. And the dark color in the make up and clothes creates an image of a very scary and dangerous witch who can without any doubts put a spell on you. Beware.
